Hi! My name is Yomaira Suazo and I am a licensed Marriage Family Therapist in California. I identify as a Latina and am bilingual. My experiences include young adults and adults. My main focus is proving a client-centered approach along with other approaches that help to create a non-judgment space for clients to feel safe and unpack, learn, and begin the healing process.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will do a brief introductions, then get into the current struggles in your day to day in order to tailor our plan for our future treatment goals.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I create a non-judgmental space for you to be able to process your emotions and experiences. I consider myself eclectic as I may integrate various modalities; Client-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,Trauma Focus-CBT, and EMDR, to provide you with coping tools and a deeper understanding of your situation.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I practice with an open and genuine relationship with clients, focusing on helping them grow from experiences to become the best version of themselves. I utilize many therapeutic techniques to form a diverse approach — everyone is different. Therefore, I collaborate with each client to find the most effective treatments.
