Welcome! I'm passionate about helping others find healing and wholeness. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, find healing from the past, and live a rich and meaningful life. I work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, and poor self-confidence. I also have specialized experience treating trauma and substance abuse, and as a Certified DBT Therapist, I have extensive experience in treating Borderline Personality Disorder or traits. I believe that one of the most underrated experiences is loss, including the end of significant relationships. I can help you navigate the grief, find meaning in the loss, and build hope moving forward. I believe that change best happens when we learn to accept where we are while simultaneously challenging ourselves to do better. I love watching cat and dog videos, reading, yoga and pilates, my dog Shelby, anything Harry Potter, and being a mom. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will chat about your history, struggles, and goals and evaluate whether we would be a good fit.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I draw from a variety of approaches and use evidence-based practices (techniques proven to be effective). My go-to modalities are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I like to explore attachment styles and how they impact your current relationships. I encourage practicing exercises at home and provide recommendations for books, podcasts, apps, and videos to enhance what we do in therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My own past and personal experience puts me in a position to be a true empathic partner in healing. I get how hard, scary, and lonely life can seem. I have a real passion for seeing others experience the kind of healing I've found in my own life. I may not have been through what you have, but I can assure you I know what it's like to struggle.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Clients who are willing and open to grow, hear hard things, and bring their genuine authentic selves to the table.
