Hi! I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) based in Columbus, Ohio. I received my Masters from the University of Denver and my Undergraduate from THE Ohio State University. I have been practicing for 8 years. I work with a variety of clients with traumatic experiences, depression, anxiety, and overall emotional health needs and will work with you to make you feel safe and cared for.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a plan to help you in a way that works for you. I am very integrative and honest about the process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I will be your biggest supporter in this healing process. I am direct, kind, and willing to work with you where you start.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

CPT is a 12-session psychotherapy for PTSD. CPT teaches you how to evaluate and change the upsetting thoughts you have had since your trauma. By changing your thoughts, you can change how you feel.We would work on evaluating and changing the upsetting thoughts that you have had since your trauma. Changing the narrative can truly help change the way you feel and interact in the world.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a type of talk therapy for people who experience emotions very intensely. It's a common therapy for people with different emotional and mental health needs. DBT focuses on helping people accept the reality of their lives and their behaviors, as well as helping them learn to change their lives, including their unhelpful behaviors.
