Hello everyone! My name is Laijun. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Georgia. I am a counselor that provides treatment for teen girls and women dealing with life’s challenges. I understand the importance of a client being able to find a counselor that they can connect with in more ways than one. The reason why I got into counseling is because I realized that more people who looked like me needed to see us in these same spaces and recognize that mental health is something that we all deal with. I see women of all backgrounds no matter race, sexuality, faith or any other demographic as my practice is women centered. I specialize in seeing women who deal with women specific issues such as PCOS, Endo, and infertility issues.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In the first session I will introduce myself and get to know you and what you are looking for in a provider. I will also talk with you about your reasons for seeking therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I feel like I am truly able to connect best with women. What I have noticed is that my ability to connect makes my clients feel seen. As a provider who deals with women specific issues as well my clients are able to recognize that I have a personal connection to the work I do.
