Hello! I'm Kelly! Do you feel your past life experiences weigh you down like an anchor and it is hard to "be normal?" Are these memories flooding your day-to-day experiences preventing you from feeling joy and living in the here and now? Is it challenging to see the real you and believe in your worth? I help both adults and children who have experienced traumatic events and who are struggling with low self-worth to claim back their lives and discover that what happened to them does not define them. Together we will take the journey to identify the true you so you can have healthy connections with others and most importantly, yourself! Whether you or your child are struggling with healthy relationships, anxiety, flashbacks, inappropriate behaviors, connecting with your child, or simply life's ups and downs, I'm here to help. Reaching out for help when others have let you down can feel overwhelming and scary but you are making the right choice! You deserve to have a safe and healthy space to heal and grow. During our time together, you will be met with compassion, empathy and evidence-based techniques to help you achieve your therapeutic goals. What do you say? Let's begin this journey together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll start with building rapport and creating a place of safety for you to feel comfortable sharing the challenges you are facing in your day-to-day life. We will work together to create a plan that best meets your needs.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I have a variety of evidence-based techniques at the ready to assist you. Everyone is different and responds differently to therapy. I often pull my techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based, Client-Centered, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused. I am a Child Parent Psychotherapist, a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, and a Making Sense of Your Worth Facilitator.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have dedicated the past nineteen years of my life to helping others heal from trauma, especially children. I have a passion for helping others not only see but believe in their own self-worth. Experiencing a traumatic event, especially during childhood is unjust and leaves a deep impact on you that you carry with you your entire life if left untreated. I specialize in unpacking that burden to free you from it and see your true self-worth. I assist others who experience secondary trauma and compassion fatigue, provide group therapy, parenting tips and tricks and training to those who work/live with children who experience trauma.
