I focus not only on your current challenges, but themes and patterns that have impacted you throughout your life. I encourage clients to make connections between current issues and past themes in their lives. My approach is active, collaborative, and relational. I strongly believe that psychotherapy works best when it is a collaboration between client and therapist. I aim to understand your experiences, memories, and relationships in order to create openings for change. I have worked with people struggling with depression, anxiety and panic, trauma, grief, self-harm, family/relationship conflicts, and impulsive behavior. I am a warm and relatable person and I bring that to my work with others. Through exploring life experiences and understanding that everyone copes with life differently, I meet the client where they are and we grow from there. If you choose to work with me, you will be getting a skilled therapist and someone who understands how life stressors and personal traumas can impact every aspect of a person's life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I would like to hear what brought you into therapy and past experiences, if any, with therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am known for my warm and personable nature. I've helped many clients navigate challenging life situations and improve their overall well-being.

My treatment methods

Psychoanalytic

I aim for clients to identify how they may be pushing people away and how these behaviors are related to past experiences. The goal is to develop new ideas and thinking patterns about relationships. I encourage my clients to use the therapeutic relationship as a model to create healthier, longer lasting relationships.
