I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 7 years of experience in the field. I have specific expertise in anxiety, addiction, family conflict, and healing from trauma. Does this sound familiar? - Navigating life's transitions and seeking support along the way - Feeling stressed or overwhelmed with everything on your plate - Feeling sad and/or anxious more than you want - Seeking to break cycles of interpersonal and/or intergenerational trauma I am passionate about helping others find their passions, goals, and purpose in life. I approach my work as a therapist with openness, curiosity, and warmth. My goal is to meet you wherever you're at and support you in your journey toward a happier, healthier, and more holistically well version of yourself. Additional areas of focus: Addictions, Intimacy-related issues, Career difficulties, Depression, Compassion fatigue, Abandonment, Attachment Issues, Blended Family Issues, Body Image, Codependency, Communication Problems, Family of Origin Issues, Guilt and Shame, Isolation / Loneliness, Life Purpose, Midlife Crisis, Men's Issues, Post-traumatic Stress, Workplace Issues

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

By working with me, you can expect to increase your self-confidence, personal insight, and emotional understanding while building a stronger sense of meaning and purpose in life and overcoming challenges from the past.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I approach each of my clients with an individualized therapeutic approach. I intuitively combine elements of evidence-based treatment models and concepts of human behavior to build a safe, supportive, and client-driven relationship. I use the following clinical approaches in my work: Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Our life experiences, particularly the difficult or traumatic ones, often change the way we see ourselves and the world around us. Many of us reach out for therapy because we are struggling to cope with the difficulties of life and to find meaning in our day-to-day existence. My goal is to remove the barriers that keep you from feeling present, confident, and purposeful. I am especially skilled in working with those of us who have "followed the path" (school, career, marriage, family, etc.) but still feel as if something is missing.
