My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

It is crucial to handle distress without losing control or acting out. Many people struggle with overwhelming emotions. When this happens, it feels like the volume of the feelings is raised to the limit. I work with clients, helping them with Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation, and Distress Tolerance. This therapeutic Method focuses on assisting people to accept the reality of their lives and their behaviors, as well as helping them learn to change their lives, including their unhelpful behaviors.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

If you change your thoughts, you can change your life. I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which can help you change unhelpful or unhealthy ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. I have used this therapy for many years, proving it very effective because it is designed to immediately improve your quality of life. CBT can be an effective way to treat depression and anxiety.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling (or relationship counseling) is a talking therapy that allows you to identify negative behaviors that can be changed to improve your relationship. This type of therapy aims to help you and your partner gain a better understanding of negative patterns within the relationship. I have worked with couples, helping them with Relationship building, Active listening Skills, Couple strengths identification, Conflict resolution, Fair discussions of issues, and relationship growth. Many couples have benefited from this therapy and have improved their relationship. I have worked with couples for many years, empowering them to grow closer together and develop healthier relationships.
