I got my MSW from The Ohio State University, specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, bipolar disorder, and OCD, amongst others. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I believe that understanding your illness is a big part of learning to manage it, so I like to educate clients on their illness. We will also, of course, address the psychological side of mental health but also consider the effects of physical health, social health, environmental factors, etc. I also frequently suggest things to do between sessions that can aid the therapeutic process.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
CBT and DBT are the primary interventions, but I have training in SFBT and MI as well.

I have significant experience with assessment and diagnosis, having done thousands of assessments over the last six years. Additionally, I specialize in anxiety and mood disorders.
