I am an individual therapist with 8 years of experience in community mental health. Through my time facilitating therapy, I have worked with a wide variety of individuals and diagnoses. Being involved in my community is important to me. I serve as the Chair of Education and Prevention on our local Suicide Task Force and currently supervise 5 Outpatient Mental Health Clinics. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a passion for helping individuals facilitate goal-oriented treatment in order to improve their overall mental health.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, I will use a person-centered approach to learn about you and your experiences. I will provide a safe and supportive environment for you in order to allow you the space to be vulnerable, and allow me the privilege of learning what you want to get out of treatment.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I feel that my greatest strength as a provider is my ability to provide attentive listening, empathy, support and unconditional positive regard. I work hard to establish a positive rapport with my clients to ensure they have a space that they feel comfortable in, in order to build a successful foundation for treatment.
