I have worked in the field of Mental Health for 20 years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of Georgia Athens and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Boston College. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Sex Therapist and Certified Addictions Professional. I have experience working in various Inpatient and Outpatient Programs for Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Process Addictions in a wide range of roles including Group Facilitator, Primary Therapist, Family Therapist and Clinical Director. I specializes in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Interpersonal Relationships, Co Dependency, Addictive Disorders, Sexual Concerns/ Sexual Impulsivity, Intimacy, Gender, Orientation and Men’s Issues (Anger and Irritability, Intimacy and Affection, Numbing or Pushing Away Emotions, Divorce/Separation, Self Esteem, Identifying and communicating emotions).

I will work to make you feel comfortable and safe. I will work to gain your trust. We will likely discuss why you came to treatment at this time. We will determine areas of concern that you would like to address, and I will gather information pertinent to our work together. Furthermore, we will go at your pace and I will meet you where you are in your process. I will actively listen and support you throughout the session. You will be encouraged to express your concerns in a client centered approach.
