Hello, my name is Crystal. Are you depressed? Have anxiety? But you don’t know the root cause? I provide a safe and therapeutic environment and will guide you on your journey to understanding your feelings, thoughts, actions and relationships and how to grow. For the past 13 years, I have counseled individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. We will explore together how to help you move forward. You may feel as though you don’t have the time due to career, family, your partner and many other aspects of your life. Finding time to heal will equip you with the tools to improve yourself and your relationships. This is about making your life better.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Rome wasn’t built in a day and the same is true of the therapeutic value of healing. You may have tried to figure things out on your own and been unable to do so. In your sessions, you may discover new things about yourself. It may not be easy. There may be painful memories. It’s okay. Don’t be hard on yourself. You will be heard and seen. You can expect openness and honesty from me and I will expect the same of you. You will be expected to be an active participant in the healing process. Your takeaway from sessions will be learning skills to live life the way you want and need. Ultimately, the session is about you being able to explore your challenges and how to help you better cope with life challenges. Are you ready?

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Starting where you are is the most important tool in guiding you to where you want to go. Throughout our time together, I will use several methods to help you move to where you want to go. First, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps to change the way you think about an issue or problem that is causing concern. In doing so, you will be able to identify ways to cope and respond effectively. Second, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy focuses on identifying solutions to help with current circumstances and what you hope the future could be. Finally, Strength Based Therapy helps to improve your mindset by focusing on the positive attributes, resources, and resilience you have rather than the negative ones. In using these abilities this will help improve your quality of life and reduce problematic symptoms.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths include being able to meet you where you are, listening, and providing empathy.
