My name is Justin! Do you feel like your life lacks meaning, significance, or depth? Do you often feel like you are only surviving and not thriving in life? I enjoy helping clients cultivate meaning making in their lives. Allow me to walk with you along your journey of reprioritization, goal setting, meaning making, and self-improvement. I strive to cultivate a judgement free space where clients feel safe to discuss whatever is having too great an impact on their life, offer easily implementable coping skills and strategies, discover short- and long-term strengths-based solutions, work with my clients in identifying meaning, and ways that meaning can be folding into consistent practices.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In a first session I will likely discuss some of the points I touch on in this profile, what the client can expect from me, what some basic expectations I will have of them, and the client is hoping to discuss, work on, and/or get from therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is working with my clients towards cultivating positive growth.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

I have worked with a number of clients who come to therapy seeking to resolve communication difficulties, ways to better understand neurodivergence and how it impacts their relationship, and ways to strengthen the relationship.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Many of the coping skills I provide my clients come from the cognitive behavior therapy framework.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Some of the coping skills I provide clients comes from the dialectical behavior therapy framework.

Motivational Interviewing

This approach to therapy greatly influences how I engage with my clients.

Existential

Not only is this one of my foundational approaches to therapy, but to life as well. What is my client's experience, what is meaningful to them, how can my client work towards identifying meaning, and cultivating a daily practice of meaning making?
