What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I complete a thorough assessment to get to know who you are, as well as the symptoms you may be struggling to navigate. I explain the therapeutic process, as well as get a sense of what goals you would like to work on in our sessions together. I may also suggest certain goals if I feel you may benefit from it.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked in many different non-profit organizations and discovered many resources for clients based on their needs. I have worked with a wide range of ages and mental health challenges.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with individuals ages 14 and older who struggle with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Together, I can be of help and support in helping you establish more effective coping skills to manage your symptoms.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a helpful method that can help you identify negative thinking patterns you may not be aware of. Once you are aware of these thinking patterns, together we work on viewing these challenging situations more clearly and learn to respond to them in a more effective way.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I help you with accepting your thoughts and emotions by working on being in the present moment. I help to explore and establish your personal values and steps to take to put these changes into action.
