In my practice, I blend empathy, expertise, and evidence-based approaches to offer personalized care tailored to each individual's needs. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, or other mental health concerns, I am here to listen, support, and assist you in enhancing well-being and building resilience. Together, we can work on strategies that enhance your mental health and overall quality of life. I look forward to being a part of your journey towards healing and growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Your first session is a vital step in your mental health care journey, and is designed to be a comfortable and welcoming experience. The initial meeting is a time for you to share about your life, your experiences, and what brings you to therapy. Similarly, it's an opportunity for me to introduce myself, my approach, and how we can work together. We'll spend this session in a relaxed and safe environment, where you can be free to express yourself without judgment. I believe that building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is key to effective therapy. So getting comfortable with each other is a crucial part of this process. I'll ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of your life, including current challenges, your history, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. This conversation helps me tailor future sessions to your unique needs and goals. But remember, you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. This session is a great time for you to ask any questions you might have about the therapy process, my background, or anything else you're curious about. The goal is for you to leave the first meeting feeling heard, understood, and optimistic about our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a mental health provider, my greatest strengths lie in my deep-seated empathy, unwavering passion, and genuine care for each individual I work with. Clients often describe my approach as warm and nurturing, creating a safe space where they feel truly heard and valued. My ability to offer unconditional positive regard stands at the core of my practice, fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding. This compassionate foundation allows me to connect authentically with clients, assisting them through challenges with heartfelt dedication and a commitment to their wellbeing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This evidence-based method focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs, and replacing them with more constructive ones. It empowers clients to develop coping strategies and skills that address issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress, promoting positive changes in behavior and mood.

Psychodynamic

Pyschodynamic therapy allows for a deeper exploration of the unconscious mind, childhood experiences, and their impact on current behavior. This method helps in uncovering underlying patterns and motivations, providing insight into complex emotional issues and enhancing self-understanding.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This approach is grounded in empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. By creating a non-judgmental and empathetic space, I help clients explore and understand their feelings and experiences, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.

Strength-Based

Strength-based therapy focuses on an individual's strengths and resources, rather than weaknesses or failures. It helps clients identify and use their inner strengths to overcome challenges, fostering growth, empowerment, and a positive outlook. This approach builds resilience, self-esteem, and confidence, shifting focus from problems to potentials.
