Hi, I am a licensed Mental Health Cousnelor who wants to provide a safe and open place for you to unload your worries, fears, hurts, and burdens and begin working together to gain hope and healing. I have 20 years of experience helping people overcome the obstacles and hurts they have and find lasting restoration. I would love to partner with you in your journey. I provide my client's tools and techniques to have lasting change. It just takes the first step of reaching out for help.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session you get to share your story and through this process I am able to gather the information I need to help make a taliored treatment plan to help you overcome your challenges. I will explain the therapuetic process and provide time for you to ask any questions you may have.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With having 20 years of experience, I am able to really connect and understand the struggles that my clients have. I am able to really help them make connects that help them gain understanding and knowledge about themselves that help them be able to make changes in their lives. I teach really useful tools and techniques that equip clients to make the changes in their daily lives they are looking for.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients who feel lost, but know that they want help and need change, but don't know where to start. I work with teens, young adults and up. I am a very practical style therapist that will meet you where you are at and give you the tools and understanding to have real change. I love clients that are ready to work towards healing.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have Level I and II of DBT training. I have utiilzed it to help my client's have real practical tools for change they implement into their daily lives. It is very helpful for several different diagnosis' such as Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Truama, and Anxiety

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have 20 years of experience using this method with clients. I love to use it in combination with some other treatment methods. Our thoughts and feelings affect our actions so being able to rewire the way we think can help change how we feel and act.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I have used ERP over the past few years to help with OCD. This is the number treatment for OCD and has the highest success rate.

Trauma Informed Care

I have 10 years helping clients with trauma. I help client's understand how their trauma's especially childhood traumas have shaped how they react and respond to the world and teach them healthy ways to respond. I utilize a trauma protocal called Trauma Recovery Intervention Protocal (TRIP) where you do not have to talk about your trauma at all to receive healing from it. It has had significant impact in freeing client's from PTSD symptoms.

Christian Counseling

If you are wanting to incorporate your faith in your treatment I have 20 years of experience helping client's navigate their faith and how it impacts their lives. I also am very comfortable help those who have religious trauma or negative experiences in church they need to explore and process.
