I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist LCAS in North Carolina. I obtained my Master’s in Social Work in 2013 with the Joint Master’s of Social Work Program between the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina Agricultural &Technical State University. I have 12 years of experience in assisting men, women, adolescents, POC, and the LGBTQI+ population break unhealthy thinking and behavior patterns. I am enthusiastic about uncovering mental and behavioral health obstacles, and encouraging individuals towards the best quality of life possible.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session client's can expect to feel listened to, and safe to express their challenges and concerns without judgement. We will also identify at least 2 short term goals of what they want to see happen or change in their life.

Over my years of experience, I have been known to be a source of inspiration for others. I have been able to assist individuals develop healthy thinking processes and acceptance of life on life's term. I also offer solution focused journaling to help individuals come to newfound insights about how they can effectively make positive changes in their thinking and behavior choices.

I have been in clinical practice for 10 years with extensive training and experience in several treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma Therapy, and Drug and Alcohol Treatment. Brittany believes in the therapeutic value of confronting unhealthily beliefs and thought patterns and strives to help individuals and families implement the notion that hope, effort, and patience are the gateways to success, joy, and abundance.
