Hi there, I'm Erin. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with individuals as well as groups regarding mental health and substance abuse concerns. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and my Master's degree from Lehigh University (Go Mountain Hawks!). I am passionate about helping individuals learn, grow, and thrive by providing a solution-focused approach to therapy. I help individuals to gain insight into their concerns and issues, create plans for positive change, and take action towards healthier lifestyles. In our sessions you will have the space and support to work through the challenges you are facing. I will incorporate techniques from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and positive psychology to assist in your treatment. Life is filled with challenges and setbacks that can at times feel completely overwhelming. By attending therapy you are choosing to take back the control to pursue an enhanced and improved quality of life. No matter where you are at or what you are going through, I’ll be here to walk by your side.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. I will ask you to identify what your goals are for therapy and give you an idea as to what to expect in future sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I work from a cognitive behavioral approach to help individuals assess the evidence for their thoughts and explore how these thoughts impact the way they feel. I also utilize mindfulness techniques to help clients learn to identify what they are thinking, feeling, and experiencing in the here and now to enhance awareness and emotionally regulate. Finally, I utilize behavioral activation techniques to help clients breakdown their goals into manageable steps and create reward patterns to reinforce progress made over time.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I enjoy working with adults who are curious regarding their psychological and physical experiences. I help clients explore how each aspect of health integrates into one's overall quality of life and perceived wellbeing. I am fascinated by the power of our bodies and minds and how we can all learn to expertly wield this power to live better lives.
