Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the state of New York. I received my Masters Degree from the University of New Hampshire and have been practicing for 7 years. I work with adults struggling with various life stressors, transitions, and diagnosed mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. My goal is to help you process, heal, and become the you that you have thought you could only imagine.
In our first session together, we will begin the process of getting to know each other and building rapport. I will gather some history and explore what brought you to therapy and how I can help you. We will explore your goals and what we can do to help you achieve them. Together, we will create a treatment plan that meets your needs, meets you where you are at, and is customized specifically to you.
My greatest strengths as a provider are not only my experience but my passion for the work that I do. I am personable and friendly and find that my approach is received really well by others. I am skilled in helping you identify the root cause of present issues and symptoms as well as incorporating a person-centered approach. My goal is to help others and even if we find that we aren’t a good fit, I will do everything I can to make sure you find a provider that will help you reach your goals.
CBT is the central modality of my practice and I have been using it for over 7 years. With CBT, you will learn how to challenge unhelpful thoughts, learn how to deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way, and how to change negative patterns to improve the way you feel.
I received Grief Therapy and Grief Informed Care training through Pesi last spring. I have a lot of experience working with those struggling with any type of loss. Grief therapy plays an important role in the healing process and if this is an area that you need help with, we will incorporate various grief techniques to help you grieve, process, and continue maintain a connection with your deceased loved one.
