What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My counseling style is open and engaging, and I approach all my clients with commitment and compassion. I find it important that my clients know that they are heard! I m not here to judge, be biased or tell them what to do but to give them a different perspective. I like to help and guide them to find the skills and learn new tools in whatever they seek in finding solutions in therapy with me.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The greatest strengths is compassion and not dismissing any clients problems that they may seem not that important but yet important enough to bring them here to therapy. Genuine empathy is key with my clients.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My counseling style is open and engaging, and I approach all my clients with commitment and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, existential, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapies. I will adjust my approaches and treatment plan to follow your individual needs and to meet your goals. I like to seek root causes of the issues that may be interfering with life that can sometimes become very overwhelming and frustrating that can interrupt with striving to have a better quality of life. I like to look at the cause and affect approach with the hope is that you can make the small changes necessary to find happiness. Progress not perfection is what I like to say!

Motivational Interviewing

I like my client's to find their purpose. What is it that they strive for and what their goals are.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

The focus here is trying to relieve what my clients have control over. What are their choices and priorities? What is at hand now to focus on? Is the past or future interfering with the now? Learning to try to find that stability of mindset.
