Hi! I’m Tajha, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) based in Texas. My approach to therapy is empathic, compassionate, and client centered, yet direct and straightforward. I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity. I have a passion in working with women who are struggling with substance abuse/dependency, anxiety, grief and loss, women’s issues, self-esteem issues just to name a few. I work with those who feel they have lost a sense of self, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and struggling to find themselves. I help clients learn skills, develop a healthier self, and heal from past wounds.
In our first session together (which would be considered our intake session), we’ll start with a brief introduction, then complete a bio-psycho-social history assessment along with discuss the specific challenges that brought you to therapy. We will develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs that we will work through as we work toward your goals in treatment.
Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-based, and other therapeutic approaches.
My biggest strengths are my ability to empathize and connect with people.
Tajha has a passion working with women who are dealing with grief, anxiety, substance use/abuse, and women’s issues (such as betrayal, trauma, insecurity issues, adjusting to life changes, and navigating post-breakup), and etc.
