Welcome! I am currently accepting new clients. Do you feel like you are just going through the motions to get through each day? Are you depressed, anxious, or losing hope that things will get better? If you are looking to create a life that you are able to enjoy again, let's talk. I foster a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapy space to ensure that my clients are able to share their experiences in confidence. With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, I am dedicated to supporting my clients as they cope with changes in mood, life transitions, and/or substance use. I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and my approach is warm, yet direct, with the intent to guide you to identify and meet your goals. You don't have to do this alone. I am happy to answer any questions that you have about the therapy process to help you feel more comfortable. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
In our first session you will have the opportunity to share what brings you to therapy, and I will ask questions to get to know you. The therapy room is a safe space for you to share at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You will also have the opportunity to ask me any questions that you have about the therapy process.
As a therapist, it is important for me to meet my clients where they are at. I especially enjoy helping my clients explore the effects of events and patterns that they have experienced that may be contributing to current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Our thoughts are constantly influencing our emotions and behaviors. Together we will process and explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact each other. We will identify and challenge the core beliefs that may have formed as a result of these patterns.
