My therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental, and friendly. My hope is to help my clients understand they are not alone and there is always hope to move forward. If you have a desire to make a positive change in your life, therapy may be the right path for you. I provide a user-friendly telehealth office setting and do my best to work with your schedule.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions and then I would love to hear all about you and what you are facing currently. We will build your goals and a plan together. We will schedule your next upcoming appointments and I will do my best to accommodate your schedule.
Some areas of special experience I have are trauma-focused, codependency, caretakers, and first responder work. I have a special place in my heart for our medical professionals and caretakers. Givers often give too much of themselves and can experience emotional fatigue. This is where I come in.
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, feminist and gestalt in nature. My perspective is heavily focused in parts theory and the ecology of the self. I tailor my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Compassion-Based therapy to best meet the needs of my clients.
