Hi I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) living un Union, NJ. I graduated from Rutgers State University. I have worked as a Clinical Social Worker in hospital setting for over 30 years, especially with Hemodialysis patients, providing individual and family counseling, helping patients who experience anxiety and depression. I am an Asian Indian male who has migrated from India to the United States, and have a lot of insight on cross-cultural identity and connections.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I will make sure to make you feel comfortable by providing a pleasant environment. I will introduce myself and give you background on my experience as a therapist. I will listen to what your needs are, set goals for therapy, and explore your strengths, talents, gifts, and potential. We will determine what schedule works best for us as well.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a very good listener. I am non- judgemental, compassionate, caring, and insightful. I have skills in analyzing issues and the ability to offer solutions. I am from India, but educated and worked in the US for over 35 years. Therefore I have multicultural exposure to working with diverse populations.
