CBT supports my clients to explore maladaptive thinking patterns, life challenges and identify new options of thinking to cope with stressors. I have discovered that patients who can utilize a variety of interventions such as reframing negative thoughts, practice new options and use their strengths can increase there ability to manage daily life challenges.
Attachment Therapy is helpful for individual and couples therapy with a focus on past and present relational attachment issues. Attachment approach assists my clients to increase awareness of behavioral issues and emotional patterns considering childhood experiences. Attachment therapy can assist clients to explore how quality of attachment in childhood can affect current relationships by nurturing secure adult attachment.
I utilize TF-CBT as a clinical approach for patients who experienced different types of trauma and challenges to manage the effect of trauma on current daily functioning. TB-CBT has different components to enhance regulatory system and can be culturally modified based on clients' needs. TF-CBT components are based on increase understanding of current symptoms and behaviors, and gradual exposure to stressor that decrease sensitization. When my clients are more comfortable to talk about trauma experience, it is more likely they can identify new options, practice new options and manage distress. TF-CBT offer doable techniques that includes education, relaxation exercise, coping skills, and other techniques to promote a more positive narrative in the last phase.
