Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Illinois. I received my Masters from Clark-Atlanta University and have been practicing for 3 years. I help children struggling with anxiety and depression. I help young adults and adults manage anxiety and depression by teaching coping skills and encouraging them to use them throughout their daily lives to improve their symptoms.
During the first session, we will get to know one another better by asking what your interests are, what your therapy experience has been, and by assessing your symptoms to understand if we will be a collaborative pair. After the assessment, we will coordinate what goals you would like to achieve and discuss how I can support you in meeting your goals.
I can provide my clients with a safe place while being able to challenge them to achieve the goals they have set for themselves. I individualize my approach to therapy and like to have therapy be more like a conversation with the client taking the lead.
I use this method to help clients identify attachment patterns from their past experiences and how these attachment styles can show up later in life.
I use this method to challenge negative thought patterns and challenge how these thoughts can be proven as not all fact and how these thoughts have an impact on other areas of functioning in life.

ERP helps with lessening triggers for anxiety by building tolerance over time
I analyze how the behaviors a client displays and how they have been able to cope with things in the past to formulate a bigger picture when it comes to diagnosing
