Hi there! I’m a holistic licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in California with over six years of experience. I specialize in helping individuals and couples process grief, loss, and trauma, using a blend of therapeutic approaches to enhance resilience and well-being. My work fosters profound personal growth, healing, and a renewed sense of hope, guiding clients toward meaningful, empowered lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we’ll begin with brief introductions, followed by a conversation about the challenges you’re currently facing. I’ll listen closely to understand your unique experiences and goals, so we can co-create a tailored plan for healing and growth. By the end of the session, you can expect to leave with a clearer sense of direction, hope, and confidence in the process. Our work together will aim to help you build resilience, overcome obstacles, and cultivate a renewed sense of well-being and purpose moving forward. And, yes; you can expect some home activities throughout our time working together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I think my greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to really listen and connect with clients, and my holistic approach to therapy. I’ve dedicated my clinical practice to supporting people navigate grief, trauma, and life transitions, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, non-judgmental space for healing. It's an honor and privilege I don't take lightly. I work alongside my clients to uncover the root of their struggles, then together, we create a personalized plan that leads to meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel more resilient, hopeful, and empowered to move forward.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy explores how early relationships shape emotional patterns and influence grief responses. In my practice, I use it to help you process grief by addressing attachment disruptions, such as loss or abandonment. This approach fosters emotional regulation, trust, and secure connections, promoting healing and integrating grief into healthier relational dynamics.

Narrative

Narrative therapy is a therapeutic approach that helps you reframe your life stories, focusing on the meaning you attach to experiences. In my practice, I use this method to externalize problems, enabling you to separate issues from their identity. This empowers you to rewrite their narratives, build resilience, and foster healing.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of distinct "parts," each with its own feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. In my practice, I use IFS to help you identify and heal internal conflicts, fostering self-compassion, integration, and emotional balance for greater well-being.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy supports you in processing the deep emotional impact of loss, recognizing that grief is a personal, non-linear experience. In my practice, I help you navigate your unique grief journey, explore emotions, find meaning, and develop coping strategies, fostering healing and emotional resilience in the face of loss.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for trauma that helps individuals process and reframe distressing memories. In my practice, I use TF-CBT to help you confront trauma-related thoughts, regulate emotions, and develop healthier coping strategies, fostering healing, resilience, and improved functioning in daily life.
