Welcome to my profile! My name is Maribel Diaz, I have over 13 yrs of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social worker and 16 years as a School Social Worker. I specialize in helping individuals and couples who are recently divorced or on the verge of getting divorce, manage the anxiety and stress that this difficult decision and process bring about.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My approach to goal setting and treatment planning involves collaborating to create a roadmap to address stressors that make navigating marriage, divorce and parenting challenging. I can assist you in identifying what hinders a good night's sleep and fostering a healthy relationship with yourself and others.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I provide a holistic and unique treatment experience by utilizing a combination of Evidence Based Practices and modalities that best fit the people I work with. Including but not limiting to Trauma Informed CBT, Schema Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I find great joy in working with individuals who are going through significant life transitions, such as marriage, divorce, infidelity, and new beginnings. They often struggle to find balance and adjust to these changes. My clients are driven to overcome their insecurities and embrace stability in their lives. We work together to alleviate anxious, depressive, and overwhelming feelings that these transitions can cause.
