Hi! I’m a holistic somatic psychotherapist dedicated to helping you feel at home in your mind and body. My path began in college, where a yoga class sparked my interest in how mindfulness and compassion can heal trauma. I earned degrees in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies and completed over 500 hours of yoga teacher training to bring a body-centered approach to my work. Together, we’ll explore the connection between mind, body, and identity, fostering greater self-compassion and growth

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In a first session a client can expect warmth and curiosity from me. There doesnt need to be a lot of pressure to figure it all out this first session. This is a time for the two of us to feel into if we might be a good clinical fit.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider include my passion for learning, humor, and humility.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a focused approach designed to help you release deep emotional or physical pain by tapping into your brain’s natural healing abilities. Using specific points in your visual field, brainspotting can access unprocessed memories and experiences, helping your brain reorganize how it responds to past trauma. This process can go beyond traditional talk therapy, reaching the core of what you’re carrying and supporting a pathway to lasting relief and resilience.

Somatic

Somatic Experiencing is a gentle, body-based approach that helps you process and release stress or trauma that may be stored in your body. By tuning into physical sensations, Somatic Experiencing supports your body’s natural ability to restore balance and calm, gradually freeing you from patterns of tension or overwhelm. This approach can be especially effective when words aren’t enough, allowing you to reconnect with a sense of safety and ease.

Feminist

Feminist-Based Therapy recognizes the impact of societal structures on our personal struggles, aiming to create a collaborative and empowering space for healing. Drawing on my background in Women’s and Gender Studies, I work to honor each person’s unique experiences and strengths, helping you process the personal and cultural layers that may impact your well-being. Together, we’ll explore ways to navigate challenges with self-compassion and resilience, supporting you in reconnecting with your power and values.

Mind-body approach

My approach as a therapist integrates mind-body techniques to support healing and self-awareness at every level. With my 500-hour yoga teacher training, I draw on practices that reconnect the mind and body, helping you tune into physical sensations as part of understanding emotions and experiences. This holistic perspective allows us to address stress, trauma, and life challenges in a way that fosters balance, grounding, and a deeper connection to yourself.
