Life can bring us challenges that feel overwhelming. As a result, you may find yourself feeling anxious, irritable, or maybe even struggling in managing your day to day life activities. If you're looking to make some changes in your life, then therapy is the perfect place to start. As an integrative client-centered therapist, I tailor my therapeutic approach to the needs of my client. You are unique and so is your journey toward healing. My job is to be flexible to your needs as we work collaboratively to help you reach your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then review the specific challenges you're currently facing. We will then collaborate on treatment goals and create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to make my clients feel comfortable and emotionally safe. I am empathetic, non-judgmental, and committed to helping clients reach their treatment goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients gain a better understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and guide clients in identifying and challenging limiting and irrational beliefs that contribute to distress.

Integrative

I utilize Integrative therapy as an individualized, holistic approach to therapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic schools of thought depending on the unique needs of a given client.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I utilize Mindfulness-based therapy to help clients incorporate mindfulness strategies to master present moment awareness, engage in grounding exercises, mind and body awareness, breathing exercises, and self-compassion which reduce stress and increase self-awareness and promote healthy coping skills.

EMDR

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which is a form of psychotherapy that is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. It enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.

Grief Therapy

I utilize Grief therapy in helping clients cope with a wide range of losses, from the death of loved ones to divorce, job loss, and more. Grief is a uniquely individualized experience, and my role as a therapist is to support clients by providing a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and find their path toward healing.
