In addition to my warm and caring style, I also bring other techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness skills to help with shaping thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have helped others improve coping skills to better manage their anxiety, anger, depression, as well as improving behaviors related to eating disorder
Together, let's develop attainable treatment goal(s) you feel comfortable. From here, we can learn about those deep emotions and find solutions and coping tools you'd like to use in order to manage them.
With flexibility and what you are ready for, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in order to help improve understanding of how having different perception can improve mood and behaviors. When you are ready, I can also explain to you how meditation and mindfulness skills can be beneficial. I also use Solution-Focused therapy to find out what has helped in the past and how to bring what worked in the past to present. Additionally, my style is leaning toward strength-based therapy.
I do individual therapy with adults. I have made many successes in graduating my clients who have struggles pertaining to stress and anxiety, anger, trauma, and eating disorder. I have understanding regarding multi-cultural as being an Asian immigrant myself who has been working with variety of population.
