Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of North Dakota and have been practicing for 10 years. I specialize in CBT, Structural Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Anger Management, and Grief Counseling, I offer a client-centered approach emphasizing empathy, process, and relatability. By collaboratively addressing mental health and relational well-being, I empower clients to navigate challenges, build resilience, and foster positive change in a supportive therapeutic environment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we will establish a foundation of trust and open communication. We will complete a bio-psycho-social assessment which leads to discussions about your goals, concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. I will take the time to get to know you, understand your unique experiences, and provide information about the therapy process. We will also explore your strengths, challenges, and any immediate issues that are important to you. Together, we will create a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals. By the end of the session, clients can expect to feel heard, validated, and hopeful about the journey ahead as we work together towards positive growth and healing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am certified in CBT from the Beck institute at Pennsylvania University. CBT is my foundational approach to therapy as I help clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Couples Counseling

Couples and marriage counseling has become a strength for me as a therapist over the past 5 years. Using this approach to focus on resolving conflicts and improving communication within intimate relationships. I utilize this approach mainly to help couples navigate challenges such as communication breakdowns, trust issues, intimacy issues, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in empathy, validation, and constructive feedback.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)

PCIT trained through my masters program, I have successfully integrated it into my role as a therapist. With many successful ventures with families helping focuses on enhancing the parent-child relationship and improving parenting skills. I work closely with both the parent and the child to address behavioral issues, emotional challenges, communication difficulties, and other concerns that may be impacting the parent-child dynamic.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

Experience with REBT has been highly successful in behavior modification for as a therapist. Utilizing the REBT techniques to help develop rational thinking patterns and effective coping strategies.

Family Therapy

My initial background in therapy was in structural family therapy. I utilized this model to help identify patterns of behavior in the family system helping set boundaries, and restructuring hierarchies within the family system to promote good communication and positive relationships.
