I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Texas, California and Florida. I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. My baccalaureate studies included Human Development and Christian Ministry. I am an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Air Force. I specialize in counseling adolescents and adults with mood disorders, anxiety, depression and traumatic experiences.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My first session will start gathering information about you and your family so that I understand a wholistic view of you and where you come from. My following sessions will be often asked by me, "Where should we start?"

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

You will learn from me that I am always curious, searching for your solutions, and never judgmental. If you are looking for transparency you may have found the right therapist for you.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

My experience has proven that people are able to achieve their goals when my clients are offered opportunities to explore their potential. We will process your ideas without judgment so that your actions are well thought through.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I hope to help you consider your thoughts and how they may be impeding in your efforts. I hope to help you dig deeply into how your cognitions affect your behaviors and emotions.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am formally trained in DBT and utilize the tools in aiding people to develop mindfulness in their lives. If you are struggling in your relationships with friends and family, I can aid you in living with your eyes wide open.

Couples Counseling

Let's talk about differences and, as a formally trained mediator and marriage therapist, work through your challenges. I am frequently court appointed as a family law forensic therapist because of my extensive training. If you choose me to help you with your relationship, please be ready to know that I will be a neutral voice and empathetic.
