Life can be a lot sometimes. Whether you're going through a big change, feeling stuck, or just need a space to vent—I’m here to listen, support, and help you sort through it all. I bring warmth, straightforwardness, and a sense of humor into the sessions. Healing can still be intentional without being heavy all of the time. I have over 11 years of experience and a special focus on working with: People in the middle of big life transitions—new chapters/endings, Clients working through generational trauma, especially those wanting to break cycles and reclaim their voice, and BIPOC individuals navigating cultural dynamics, and the weight of systemic stress.
Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to learn more about what’s bringing you in, what’s been going on in your world, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—this is your space, and we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You can expect me to show up as a real human: warm, engaged, and curious. I’ll probably ask about your past experiences, any patterns you’ve noticed, and what support looks like for you. And if you’re not totally sure what you need yet—that’s okay too. A big part of therapy is figuring that out together. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, supported, and maybe even a little lighter. From there, we’ll decide together what ongoing therapy might look like.
One of my biggest strengths is creating a space where people feel seen, safe, and not judged. I bring a calm, grounded presence, and I’m genuinely curious about who you are—not just what's “wrong” or what needs to be “fixed.” Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up to me, even when talking about things they’ve never shared before. I’m also not afraid to bring humor into the room. Therapy can be deep and emotional, but it can also be a place where we laugh, find joy, and reconnect with what makes us feel human. And lastly—I'm in it with you. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and takes notes the whole time. I show up fully, I ask thoughtful questions, and I walk alongside you as you do this work.
My clients are motivated to help increase their over all well being, they're open to feedback and a humorous approach. They are often honest and transparent and committed to growth. Ultimately this is your time and it's important to provide clarity regarding your needs so I can be most helpful to you.
