I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 32 years experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. i have extensive training in the areas in which I practice and always follow the guidelines for ethical outcome/evidence based care. I love my work and I approach it with a great deal of energy and enthusiasm. I offer a warm, safe, non judgmental environment where clients can do serious work on achieving their goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You can expect to be listened to and to know that you are understood. You will walk into a warm, non-judgemental environment where you can feel free to express yourself as you wish. I will do a comprehensive evaluation that will help me gather information but it will also be a positive therapeutic experience for you. Feel free to prepare notes if you wish before our first session or for all of our sessions .

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I love what I do and bring a great deal of enthusiasm to my work which my clients tell me signals to them HOPE. i have a great sense of humor and am an authentic, real person who has good training, extensive experience and most of all, a sincere desire to help. I ask that you bring the"real you" to our sessions and give our sessions your best efforts. Perfection is never an expectation.
