I have over a decade of directing facilitating and partnering with licensed clinical comprehensive therapists. My expertise is working with returning offenders and individuals who are experiencing depression.
In our first session, we will start with brief introductions. The next step is to identify the specific challenges clients are currently facing. A tailored treatment plan will then be created for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with an array of clients over a decade, its critical to identify the root cause of the client's challenges. Its also important to create a treatment plan that have measurable goals for clients to meet.
CBT places an emphasis on assisting individuals learn to be their own practitioners. Through homework exercises in the session as well as homework outside of the sessions. Clients also learn coping skills so that they can change their own thinking, emotions and behavior.
