Hello. I'm is a bilingual psychotherapist with over 16 years of clinical experiences. I have a passion to promote the integration of individual, family and community healing. Prior to being a therapist, I was a social worker supporting and advocating for survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and child abuse. I hope to provide guidance to those struggling with various life challenges, such as difficulty managing stress, regulating emotions, or has a history of trauma, abuse, depression, and/or anxiety. I help individuals find their intrinsic motivation to emotionally heal and experience personal growth. It is nice to be heard. It is refreshing to be understood. I truly believe everyone should have the opportunity to feel heard, validated, and understood. Because feelings are the side effects of being human.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and discuss the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. This is also a good time for you to assess our compatibility. Therapy should be a safe place for you to verbalize your inner thoughts and express your emotions. I believe for therapy to be effective, a mutually trusting relationship must be established.

The treatment methods that I use are highly dependent on the individuals and their needs and goals. As a client-centered mental health provider, I believe that individuals are experts of themselves, especially when they are provided with the appropriate support and foundation.
