I am a warm and caring therapist. The therapeutic relationship is what makes the magic happen. It is very important that my clients in therapy experience feeling heard and understood. Speaking with a therapist provides space for new insights into tackling life’s problems. I specialize in helping individuals heal from childhood trauma. I also specialize in treating depression and anxiety. I work with individuals, couples, and families in providing therapy. I hold a master's degree in Clinical Social Work and a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I wrote my Ph.D. Dissertation on resilience from Adverse Childhood Experiences. Furthermore, I have advanced training in Narrative Family Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
The initial session is an assessment to take a history and helps to formulate a treatment plan.
I use solution-focused and narrative therapy techniques to help my clients find meaningful change in their lives.
My biggest strength is my ability to listen to my clients and co-create solutions to stuck behavioral and thought patterns.
