Welcome! If you are here, I can imagine you are struggling with something in your life. It can be really anxiety provoking to reach out and start therapy. I’m glad you are here and I’m happy to help you walk through any struggle or issue you are going through. I’ve worked with a variety of clients that have experienced anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance abuse/addiction, anger management, psychosis, trauma & abuse, stress management and relationship concerns. All of my sessions are currently virtual.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together is just getting to know each other. I will ask you why you have come to therapy & what you are looking for help with. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have as well. It is more of a getting to know you process !

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths as a provider are taking a more relaxed, open approach to therapy. I often meet you where you are. There is no pressure to say the right thing, or have a specific goal in mind. I often utlize humor in my sessions as well. Clients tend to find me more down to earth and easy to connect to.

I utilize attachment based theories to help you understand why we have some of the behaviors that we do!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am trained in CBT & use this to demonstrate how your thoughts affect your behaviors and actions.

Psychodynamic
