I believe that every person has the potential for growth in some aspect of life and that it can be a struggle at times. It is easy to forget that we are the main character in our own lives and sometimes we try to operate in the background. My goal is to help my clients get back in control of their lives and support their growth throughout the process. I provide a collaborative setting in which we work together towards changing behaviors and achieving goals to improve the quality of life and get back into the main character role. As a therapist, I focus on cognitive behavioral therapy with solution-focused techniques.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first therapy session is a lot of questions to get to know you and your worldview. How you grew up and what led you to the person you are today as well as what created the situation that has you seeking guidance.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I give my clients a care and compassion while also being direct. I will let you know when you have made a mistep, and also help you plan how to correct it.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

My job is to help you sort through what is causing you distress in this moment. I enjoy teaching you how to be your own therapist and walking yourself through the skills to get you through and to find your peace.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I connect how thoughts can affect our behaviors and how changing those thoughts, and quieting the negative voice that may reside in your head. We walk through methods to help challenge negative thoughts and change behavioral outcomes.
