My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of my go to treatment methods. It has helped many of my clients to better handle stressful situations. I utilize CBT to assist my clients in becoming aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so they can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a method I choose to use to assist my clients in changing negative, unhealthy behaviors that may be holding them back in their life. It has helped many of my clients stop utilizing self-injurious behaviors and unhealthy behaviors to help them cope. I utilize DBT to assist my clients in developing healthy problem-solving and coping skills. DBT is more likely to work for someone if they are ready to make some changes in their life.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma Informed Care is a treatment method I choose to utilize with clients that come to me to work through trauma they have experienced. My clients are able to process their trauma in a safe space and recognize underlying reasons for their current behaviors. I utilize Trauma Informed care to assist clients in understanding trauma’s role in their emotions, behavior, and thinking patterns. Trauma Informed Care also assists my clients in recognizing the role of trauma in their life experiences.
