I am a LPC in Georgia with a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University with 14 years of experience. I work with adults that are struggling with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders who wish to develop coping skills to achieve more balance in their lives. I assist clients to feel more empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I usually start an initial session off with introductions and general conversation such as asking about your day, and how you have been doing before coming into session. Because it’s important to feel like you’re easing your way into a conversation with a stranger about your “big things”. So I will make sure a new client has a comfortable seat, has found my therapy room without too much stress, has a place to feel comfortable to settle in.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am truly fascinated by the variety of human experience and eager to discover more about my clients sitting before me. I am an attentive listener and do not judge what my clients share in therapy. I strive to create a safe and inviting place to share so you feel comfortable opening up to allow me to take in who you are and how I can help. I adapt my approach for each individual client, and I am comfortable working in different therapy modalities and don’t hesitate to try something new. All these strengths assist with the process to develop a personalized plan that will work specifically to your issues.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Navigating daily life can be overwhelming for those that are struggling with a mood disorder such as bipolar disorder, depression or anxiety. At times, just getting your feet on the floor every day can be a challenge. My passion is to work with clients to develop the skills to overcome obstacles to develop practical skills to improve their quality of life.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

My training in DBT can teach clients skills to build a life worth living. my goal is to help you uncover your true potential. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I also utilize CBT to challenge and modify behaviors by questioning by uprooting negative and irrational beliefs.
