Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California and have been practicing for 6 years. I am currently working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and I support parents/families while their newborn(s) are admitted in the NICU. Working with postpartum parents has shown me the importance of perinatal mental health, and has quickly became a passion of mine. My previous work experience has been working in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma Center and providing psychiatric assessments.
In our first session together, we will began with brief introductions with each other. Then we can explore your reason(s) for pursuing therapy at this time. From there we can create your goals and plan together for us to follow up with during our next sessions.
As your therapist, I will strive to provide you with a safe and supportive space where you can feel comfortable sharing your story. We can begin wherever you feel the most comfortable, and together help create a plan to address any goals or concerns you wish to address. I tailor therapy to each persons unique story, ensuring they feel empowered in their journey.
I have the most experience working with adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety and/or depression in their lives.
You are the expert of your own life, so therapy can start wherever you feel the most safe and comfortable. With this approach, clients can choose what the focus of therapy should be, and with the support of the therapist, we can identify certain changes that you can implement in your life to helping you achieve your goal.
