Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been practicing in Pennsylvania for 4 years. I provide a calming and relaxed approach to therapy centered around validation and acceptance of your experience that can allow for a better understanding of what you can and cannot control in your life. From this perspective, we can better understand how to approach any difficulties that occur in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect a low-pressure environment where we can get to know one another and have a better understanding of whether or not we would be a good fit to continue therapy. We can also discuss what you are looking for in a therapist and I can discuss my approach on how I can best support you in whatever you are hoping to achieve in therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are cultivating a calming, accepting and validating environment that provides an opportunity for someone to be their true, authentic self. I work hard to ensure that our sessions together will have a foundation of trust and honesty in order to provide an easy transition into discussing the more difficult issues within a therapeutic environment.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have employed this method both in my own life and in my work as a counselor. I believe it provides empowerment to people to take autonomy over their experiences rather than their experiences taking autonomy over them.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

This treatment method is helpful in identifying things that are both in your control as well as out of your control to provide better understanding of what should be accepted and what you have the power to change.
