Hi! I'm a Licenced Professional Counsellor (LPC) and Holistic Sex Therapist (HST) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Master from Kutztown University and have been practicing for over 10 years. I help couples and individuals work through mental health and sexual issues. I use a variety of techniques to ensure you are able to meet the goals that we set up so you can feel successful

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a great listener and with your imput we will come up with a plan to help you make progress on your goals so you can see the changes that you are looking for in therapy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to challange and change various cognative distortions, such as thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, with their associated behaviors to improve emotional regulation.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is used to help you to learn to accept yourself without judgement and at the same time, work on challanging the negative, unhealthy behaviors that hold you back in your life.

Sex Therapy

A sex therapy session looks a lot like a standard therapy session. We will explore what brings you to therapy, and identify your goals and desired outcomes. We will take a sexual history, and learn about the ways the environment impacts how you experience your sexuality. We will explore a number of systems to help us understand how you express certain parts of yourself - family, cultural, political, educational, oppressive, social, religious, and more. We will discuss possible biological considerations, and provide referrals to work in collaboration with medical professionals if useful.

Couples Counseling

This will be a safe place to explore communication and goals as well as emotional and sexual intamcy within the couples dynamic.
