Hi! My name is Lucy and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I am committed to supporting women of all ages through all of life's struggles, conflicts, or transitions as well as the unique challenges of the perinatal period. When life events bring up emotions and reactions such as anxiety, sadness, anger, and trouble coping with trauma, I truly believe that these issues cannot be processed alone. My approach is rooted in creating a safe and inclusive space where my clients can explore their experiences, emotions, and identities with compassion and understanding.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Together, we will explore your strengths, build resilience, and cultivate self-compassion as you identify your goals and develop a toolbox of coping skills. My goal is to empower you to embrace your authentic self, find healing and growth, and create a fulfilling and peaceful life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I have the ability to deeply empathize with your experiences and demonstrate genuine care and compassion for your well-being. I am able to connect with clients on an emotional level that fosters trust and facilitates the therapeutic progress. I have experience and training in working with women and children dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am also certified in perinatal mental health counseling (PMH-C).

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe that first and foremost, therapy is about a relationship between two people in a safe space. Person-centered therapy puts this relationship at the foundation of the work that is being done in sessions. Clients are able to trust in their therapist to hold space for all of their emotions, big or small, without judgement.

Trauma Informed Care

I strive to do all of my work from a trauma informed lens, and take this responsibility very seriously
