Jasmina uses an eclectic, client-centered approach, recognizing that every person’s experiences and needs are unique. She draws from a variety of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, behavioral approaches, trauma-informed care, strengths-based work, and mindfulness. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, life transitions, and relationship or family challenges. Jasmina is committed to creating a supportive and genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, openness, and respect. She views therapy as a collaborative journey where clients play an active role in shaping their goals and growth. Together, the work focuses on gaining insight, developing practical tools, strengthening resilience, and supporting meaningful, lasting change.
The first session is a chance for us to connect and start building a comfortable, supportive space. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what led you to seek therapy, and what you hope might change or improve. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—this is simply the beginning of the process. I may ask some questions to better understand your experiences and goals, and you’re always welcome to ask questions too. Together, we’ll begin thinking about what you’d like to focus on moving forward.
Clients often share that they feel comfortable opening up in our sessions. I focus on building a genuine, trusting relationship where people feel heard, respected, and understood. I balance insight with practical tools, helping clients not only explore their experiences but also develop skills they can use in daily life. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique strengths and needs.
I am best positioned to work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood-related concerns, life transitions, and relational or family difficulties. I work well with clients who are seeking a structured yet supportive therapeutic process and are motivated to gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and improve emotional regulation. My approach is well suited for clients who value collaboration, self-reflection, and evidence-based interventions, and who are open to engaging actively in treatment planning and therapeutic work. Clients with goals of increasing self-awareness, strengthening resilience, improving interpersonal functioning, and achieving sustained emotional and mental well-being may find this approach particularly beneficial.

As an Asian America in his 30s it's been helpful to have a therapist who understands my immigrant background but also my day to day needs as a American Millennial. Jasmina has been able to have real conversations with me, validate my feelings, but also challenge my perception of situations and help me grow and see where I could have benefited from a different mindset or different reaction.

Jasmina is an excellent therapist. She can hone in on core issues immediately with sharp insight, while also still leaving lots of space for me to vent and come to realizations on my own. She is incredibly adept at understanding human behavior. I am so grateful to be working with her as she continues to make me feel understood and to push me to grow and break out of negative patterns of thinking and behavior. For the first time I feel like I am on a path to becoming a person that I want to be.

Jasmina has been great in giving me broad holistic perspectives on the problems I’ve had in life. I come away from sessions with tools to improve, and an overall positive outlook.
