About
I am a therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and the impact of past experiences. I use approaches like CBT and EMDR to help you better understand your patterns, process what’s been holding you back, and build practical tools for lasting change.
By integrating CBT and EMDR, I support both symptom relief and deeper processing of experiences that may be keeping them stuck.
My style is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel more grounded and in control.
First session
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, background, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll also talk about goals and how I can best support you moving forward.
Strengths
My approach balances insight with practical change. I help clients understand the patterns behind their thoughts and emotions while also giving them concrete tools they can use in daily life. By integrating CBT and EMDR, I support both symptom relief and deeper processing of experiences that may be keeping them stuck.
Ideal clients
I work best with individuals who are navigating the effects of trauma or distressing life experiences that continue to show up in their day-to-day lives. Many are insightful and motivated for change but feel held back by persistent emotional reactions or negative core beliefs. Using approaches like EMDR and CBT, I help clients process what’s been stuck and move toward a greater sense of stability and self-trust.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify unhelpful patterns and replace them with strategies that actually work—so you can start feeling better and functioning at your best.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I practice from a culturally responsive perspective, adapting therapeutic approaches to reflect each client’s background, values, and lived experiences. I create an open space to discuss cultural identity and systemic influences, and I continuously engage in self-reflection and learning to provide respectful, effective care.
EMDR
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as part of a trauma-informed approach to help clients process distressing memories that continue to impact their current functioning.
