LICSW, 11 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi, I’m Casey — an LICSW offering warm, trauma-informed, down-to-earth therapy for adults across Massachusetts. I work with those navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, parenting stress, and major life transitions. My style is supportive, practical, and collaborative — I meet you where you are, without judgment or pressure. Whether you’re healing from past trauma, managing postpartum changes, or trying to feel more grounded day-to-day, I help you slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and build tools that actually work in real life.
Our first session is a comfortable, low-pressure conversation where we get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s been weighing on you, what you want to feel differently, and what you hope therapy will support. You can share as much or as little as feels right. We’ll start building a plan together and identify a few grounding tools you can begin using right away. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful.
Clients often describe me as calm, steady, and easy to open up to. They say I help them feel understood quickly because I listen closely, don’t judge, and make even overwhelming things feel more manageable. Many people share that they appreciate my down-to-earth approach, the way I explain things clearly, and how the tools we build together genuinely fit into their real lives.
You might be my ideal client if you feel constantly overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in “survival mode.” Maybe you’re navigating postpartum changes, healing from trauma, managing emotional ups and downs, or trying to balance parenting with your own mental health. You’re insightful and self-aware but exhausted from doing everything on your own. You want a therapist who is real, relatable, grounding, and gentle — someone who helps you feel safe while also offering tools and clarity. If you’re craving calm, confidence, and a sense of yourself again, I’m here to support that healing.
With TF-CBT, I support clients in understanding how trauma impacts their thoughts and emotions while teaching grounding, coping, and reframing skills that help them feel safer and more in control.
I help clients understand how past relationships shape current patterns and support them in building healthier connections, stronger boundaries, and more secure emotional experiences.
