You may be used to holding everything together while underneath it all, you’re anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or still carrying things from your past. You might know something needs to change but aren’t quite sure where to start. I’m a Certified EMDR Therapist specializing in anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. I also support women through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, parenting stress, and major life transitions. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, understand what’s been weighing on you, work through difficult experiences, and start feeling more grounded and like yourself again.

First session

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. Our first session is a conversation where you can slow down, talk about what’s been weighing on you, and decide what you’d like to feel different.

Strengths

I know opening up to someone new isn’t always easy, so creating a space where you can be yourself without feeling judged is important to me. I’m warm, down-to-earth, and compassionate, but I’ll also gently challenge you when it can help you grow. I use EMDR, trauma-informed therapy, CBT, and practical coping strategies based on what you need, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Ideal clients

I work best with adults who may look like they have everything together but inside feel anxious, overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck. You may be carrying the impact of trauma or difficult past experiences, adjusting to motherhood or postpartum changes, or navigating a major life transition. You’re ready to understand yourself better, feel more grounded, and stop letting anxiety or the past have so much control over your life.

Treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR can help when trauma, PTSD, anxiety, or difficult past experiences continue to affect how you feel today. I use EMDR to help you process those experiences, reduce triggers and emotional distress, and feel less stuck. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Sometimes anxiety, stress, and past experiences can leave you stuck in patterns of overthinking, worrying, or being hard on yourself. I use CBT to help you understand those patterns, challenge thoughts that aren’t helping, and develop practical ways to cope and respond differently.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach so therapy feels collaborative and tailored to you. I’ll meet you with compassion and without judgment while helping you better understand yourself, work through what’s keeping you stuck, and make changes that feel meaningful in your everyday life.

Solution-Focused Brief Treatment

I use solution-focused therapy to help you identify what’s working, build on your strengths, and take practical steps toward the changes you want to see. When anxiety, stress, or life transitions leave you feeling stuck or overwhelmed, we’ll focus on realistic goals and strategies that help you move forward with more confidence.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use a trauma-focused approach to help you understand how difficult or painful experiences may still be affecting you today. Together, we’ll work through trauma, triggers, anxiety, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while building skills to help you feel safer, more grounded, and more in control of your life.
